hi fellow speakers (sorry, brothers only!):.
my first public talk, given in my early 20s, was actually a twenty-minute part of a symposium talk.
my pioneer partner friend and i each had twenty minutes and a "servant" had the concluding part.
Thanks, Guys and Gal (), for illuminating comments!
We all got the same training.

Hi fellow speakers (sorry, brothers only!):
My first public talk, given in my early 20s, was actually a twenty-minute part of a symposium talk. My pioneer partner friend and I each had twenty minutes and a "servant" had the concluding part. That twenty minutes, and later a full hour as I progressed, was dutifully reported on my time slip. I needed every minute I could get because if we pioneers didn't meet our monthly quota of 100 hours and 100 magazines and 35 (?) back calls, well . . .
Friend and I got our feet wet before going on the circuit and district.
YOU?

Horace never went for the newfangled and overly esteemed bells and whistles, automotively speaking. For that very reason he held onto his '40s Packard 120, a true classic, and did cobble its derelict-becoming chassis together with bits and pieces of this and that from other orphan automobiles, not to mention an oft replaced all-too-frequently-popped clutch.
blithe, bereft, bemused
Belated greetings, dear ones!

He really would rather have chosen not to go public, but it appears that that Drew girl and her chums looked through his personal stuff and discovered an artist of no mean accomplisment who tends toward wildly erratic behavior that is triggered by inner, volcanic churnings. Other than that, he is as calm as a coolish cucumber and shan't be preferring charges . . .

i'm not suicidal just fed up.. i did think of suicide (briefly), but as there is no painless way and it's not something i would willingly do just in case things would have been better the day after.
i do have a slight grain of hope.. money problems.....problems at home (that's another matter with a son up court for something he is adamant he didn't do.
first offence but the pigs police and the cps have got charges made.
Hey, punk -- my question also, but I realized it was an involuntary thing on my part. Waking up, that is.
The posts I've read here have been helpful to me, particularly those mentioning getting exercise and being with people.
I've written sad poetry on JWD/JWN for years; it's helped, but I've had enough of sadness. Despite things I've done and accomplished, I can relate 100% to your sentiments.
We just keep going . . .

the year is 1969. faithful followers of the watchtower society are gearing up for the imminent end of the system of things just as they had been for the previous ninety years.
a young witness named andrew is trying to decide what to do with his life.
andrew is a smart kid and he has an entire lifetime ahead of him.
